WW1 Military cross medal group to an officer in the Royal Fusiliers
- MC unmarked or dated ass issued with pin bar for wearing in it's original box of issue
- War and Victory medals named to 2-LIEUT. T. SMITH.
- Photocopied paperwork showing MC to T Smith
- Awarded for conspicuous gallantry being 2nd Lieutenant in command of the mopping up platoon in the third line of a night attack on the enemy, after clearing a portion of the front line he went to the assistance of two platoons in the leading line which were held up by 2 machine guns taking these in flank he overcame resistance and the garrison surrendered, then he the established his platoon in the position allotted to one of the leading platoons which had become too weak to hold it. His prompt action saved casualties and ensured success.
